My name is Kenneth and I am a recent graduate of Chico State University with a Bachelor’s
degree in Construction Management and a minor in Business Administration. I am currently
looking for an entry level project manager position or entry position that would allow me to use
my skills learned in school and previous internships with different construction firms to become part of a management team and apply these skills to benefit the company I work for. I researched
the projects your firm has worked on and I would like to become a part of your organization.
Being young and right out of college, I would like to work for a firm that allows me to grow and
learn as much as possible as I continue through my goal of becoming a project manager for a
respectable construction firm. I think of myself as a hard worker striving to get the project done
right in regards to budget, time, and to specifications. I am very eager to learn and become an
asset to a firm. Computer skills and knowledge of the construction process are the basics of what
I learned in college, but I understand that complexities are always found in projects, which I am ready to face and solve using the skills that I have learned. With these skills and eagerness, I
believe I can be a valuable asset to your organization.
I hope that my qualifications and skills are what you are looking for in your organization. Thank
you for your consideration and I look forward to hearing from you. You can reach me at my email address kluyster83[at]gmail.com. Thanks again and thank you for your time
Respectfully yours,
Kenneth Luyster
